以下是 Kevin Huang的近況

我已在原單位待了15年多, 原本一直都在資訊部門,
去年下半年被調派到法人金融的後勤單位,
對個人是一個比較大的挑戰,
目前在一個將會持續進行約2~3年的專案中.
因為我比較早結婚, 因此, 小孩應該比大家的都大一些,
兩個小孩, 老大, 女兒, 今年上高一, 小的, 兒子,
今年上國二. 老婆是國中老師, 於桃園上班,
因為娶妻隨妻, 因此, 就近定居在桃園,
一晃眼, 已經將近20年了.

這麼多年了, 大家各自有不同的生活模式, 各有苦樂.
只是時光無法回頭, 無法重回大學的日子, 也只能往前看了.
很佩服你能有放下工作、陪小孩成長的勇氣與環境,
我就覺得我的兩個小孩沒有被好好地帶大, 很遺憾的.

我本來還猜去年20年時, 班上或系上會有活動呢！
結果竟然無聲無息.

希望有機會可以聚一聚.

Sorry, but I don't know how to type in Chinese. I am still working part time as a Kumon
Math instructor. My kids are 17, 13, and 6 years old now. The oldest will be applying
for college by the end of this year. Thank you "Little Yin" for starting this blog. I
enjoyed reading your little stories of your kids. You are such a dedicated mom. Your
twins are so lucky and I can tell they are very happy! Keep in touch!

So, how're you guys doing? I stayed in Tokyo for 1 week in my return
trip to US. It was my first visit to Tokyo (excluding transition). It is
rather interesting... While newer areas/regions/districts are well
developed and comparable to (if not better than) New York, older
areas amazingly ressemble to Taiwan's older city regions. For
example, the traditional marts in Ueno... I will send some pictures
when I get a turn around.

Thanks for asking. I am just back to normal life

recently. I don’t recall receiving your mail.

Got one from Shiu Lang and Tao. I have been

out of most contacts for the past eight months.

I am all right and still teach at SDSU. It will be

a very busy semester with several faculties

on leave and I am the only senior faculty

in our division. Will keep you updated and

will visit your blog sometimes.

Hi,

It's so great to hear from you. It's also great to
know that everone is doing fine, and grows family. I
have been staying at New Jersey for quite some time.
There was a chance to relocate to Maryland a few
months ago but blue crabs didn't win their bid. I
currently work for Qualcomm inc, have a wife, same as
every married man :), and have a kid at age 3.

It's very nice of you setting up the blog and updating
contact information. I'll have a handful of prople to
bug next time when we visit Taiwan. Hopefully, it will
be soon. We are aching to visit Taiwan again,
especially my boss at home.

Just realized that you are in NJ. Thought that you have moved

Hi(This is Henry),

Wesley will be 3 in 2 months. Attached please find 2

I IM with Diana a while back. She said she may come to
New York sometime because Mimi might be interested in
either NYU or Columbia. It's amazing how kids grow,
Mimi was just like Wesley when we met last time. Or,
we just grow old too fast. :(

Hi, Tao:

I thought I might have to move back. However, it gets harder and
harder to move once you stay at a place too long, even the
thought of moving gives me a chill. :P

Yep. We can finally meet after all. Give me a buzz when you come
to New Jersey or New York City. We can get Cliff too.

I have an annual ski trip to Kilington, Vermont around Christmas
too. It would be nice to join you though.

It seems somebody revealed I'm still alive !
My contact details hasn't changed at all. My office still in my house !
I'm still working 24 hrs in a day.
Still in metal businesses, no time to have vocation, no time to lose
weight, no time to create my own babies.............But still alive !
This is my life style.
Sometimes think about to contact any one of you, but lazy to take up
the phone. I have been to Shanghai several times, only once
successfully get in touch with Frank.

Anyway, I'm still 92 kgs, a little bolding. I have got "PTCA" surgery 2
years back, but still smoke. - but still a handsome husband of my wife.
Not making enough money now, I plan to get retired by 50.

If you guys want to buy raw metal products, come to me ! I will give you

And Joey, eh, a couple of millions, yes - still printed on my lottery tickets.
Was it almost 4 years ago we met in NY? I have to say(and to everyone)
that Mrs. Lin should be so proud of Joey. He is the only guy ever who I say
goodbye to 2 o’clock in the morning on NY street and was absolutely "alcohol-
free".

By the way my sincere apology that I had no ideas that the gorgeous lady
you held in your arms was NOT Mrs. Lin when we met at the lobby of Hilton
Hotel. I should have thought it better - a handsome successful middle age
man on a business trip? no brainer. Somehow I have a feel that someone
somewhere in the West-South corner of US is scratching his head ,.."Eh. I do
not have any recollections of anything like this in that NY trip, or, did I?"

PTCA is nothing !
My heart hasn't been suffered at all, very strong
one. I found this problem before it harms my life.
I just followed doctor's advise to insert the
supporter before it becomes a trouble later on.
So, don't worry !!

By the way, I don't know how to put my photos
in the block. who could teach me.

Hello, It is really fun to read about you! Thanks for Ing小瑛's effort.

Last time I saw Ing’s twins during the lunar New Year holiday. They
were like happy chickens ran around, up and down. Their nice dad
watching them patiently, so their mom and I could enjoy in our own
conversations.

I came back Taipei over two years already. Thought it would be only
an in-between job, but turned out to be this long already. My office
is at Hsien Tien (新店).

Frank and Henry, I believe that we are in the same industry.

Dianna, with Mimi going college, you surely are my number 1 idol.

All you dads and moms, my cheers to you, good job on bringing up
our future generation.

Terry, do stay healthy and try to get in shape!

YY, we look forward to a reunion event you mentioned.

Time really flies !! It has been decades since we graduated. Yet, like
wine, our friendship is getting more juicy. I have been working with
Levi’s since 1997. This is the organization that I served the longest
as of now. Levi’s has a culture that I enjoyed most. They really do
care about people and as such, being a Human Resources
professional here, I have many rooms to play around with and yet,
still able to support the business to achieve our aggressive business
results.

My parents are still in Hong Kong. I am the only one here in Taiwan.
Still single, waiting for my Mr. Right to appear. I am now living in
Chitu (七堵). Hence, anyone who would like to go to Keelung and
come to visit me.

There is so much to say that I do not know where to start. Two
weeks ago, I started my third job in the last twelve months. I do not
think that any Class 74 has changed jobs more than I have (8 and
see below) in the last 16 years. In a capitalism society, there is no
such thing as job security or loyalty. While changing job is not my
habit (at least I hope it does not become one), this was my polite
way of giving my last boss the middle finger. I was lucky enough to
find my current job soon after though. It is a blessing to afford to
live in San Francisco as well.

Thank you to Hui-Ing for your hard work to
build up this blog.
