Hello, all of you AM74, Happy 2006 Year End!!(From Peifang)
Special Note: The photos(請讀你的email) are not meant to be posted on web site. ( I am in my pajama.)
One is taken with the silent movie start Chaplin, who is my neighbor.
The other is the train in Xmas light with my picture pasted in it. The historical train is actually rolling. Local folks ride them between my town, Fremont, and Sunol for fun during weekend.
We have a cold front in the west coast today. Seattle even had a severe winter storm a day before. Even so, after dinner tonight, I managed to go out to our historical Nile neighbor to see the train in Xmas light .
May you all find happiness this year end.

It's been a warm winter this year in
Northern
Virginia. Haven't seen snow yet. I have a
ski trip in
Christmas time, though. Henry probably
will go
further north to Vermont for skiing...
Anyway, glad to hear from you in holiday
season.
For sure will send photos if I take some. I
was in
deep hell since Sept. Finally got a
break...
Happy Holidays!
Tao
It has been so fun talking with old friends!
Wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Keep in touch! And remember I want to see more
pictures, too.
Blessings from Yosemite,
The Shyu Family
Hello Diana,
Ooh no ~ we must have missed chances to meet
each other a couple of times this year. I also went
up Yosemte in the later Aprial of 2006. Looks like
your family were there in the summer.
Great photo! It is wonderful to see you, your "dear
sir" and your youngsters in the photo. Parker grew a
lot since I saw him last time. Sandy is getting
prettier. Mimi is a youn woman now!! Love you all,
--- Aunt Peifang
Hello there in Virginia, Tao,
I could imagine that your work load this past half
year. AOL/Time Waner had anounced so many new
services to launch, and you guys probably worked
like elfs of the north pole. Glad to know you finally
get a break in Chrismas.
Which grade Brain is in now? Kyle the little one,
right? We surely love to see your trip photos.
-- Aunt Pei
Ryan, my older one, is in sixth grade now. Kyle is six
and in his first grade now..he brings home smiley
faces as well as 'warning' notes everyday.
As to AOL, in addition to launching services, there
are lots of re-org: it is like music chair....people
moved, left (willingly or not), all the time... ;-) But,
it is part of the work...have become numb of it.
It is always great to hear from friends in holiday
season..
Cheers
Tao
Dear AM74:
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
boy
Oops! Sorry Ryan,
Aunt Pei is definitely showing sign of aging.
What did I miss? Ryan is in sixth grade now? You were just a small
toddler ridding on your dad’s shoulder when we hiked at Villa
Montalvo.
I am sure you now like Virginia, and ski and all that. But someday
soon bring your mom and dad and Kyle back to visit us in the bay
area.
Merry Xmas.
I had a nice lunch with Cliff and his lovely
wife last weekend. They are doing pretty
good, I think. I'll leave Cliff to speak for
themselves.
Tao,
Are you coming to Jersey to ski? If yes,
please save some time for me. I will not
go Killington this time. I have all the time
available. And it would be nice to see you
after so many years.
Merry Christmas to everyone!!
Henry
Hi, Henry:
Glad to hear that you and Cliff's gathering. Wish I was there..
I actually had quite a few business trips to NYC last month.
Unfortunately, those are not conferences/seminar types... spent
most of time in the office building (6 Ave & 51 st St.; are you
or Cliff near that area?) Barely have personal time for leisure.
For Christmas, as you can see, the weather is not as cold as one
would hope for ski. Most likely, my family will go to the ski
resort, ski or not. The plan is that my wife's sister's will
come back to VA with us after the ski. Therefore, there might
not be a trip to Jersey.
But, I will definitely ping you if a Jersey trip becomes
realistic. It'd be nice to meet during next week when everyone
is supposed to be relaxing, though :-)
Happy Holidays!!
